Being the first family of Texas was a great honor. Ima's dad loved everyone for who they are so he took his kids to mental hospitals, prisons, places for people who are different and make the wrong choices. She spent most of her time helping people that needed it. Jim Hogg was one of the best governors of Texas he respected everyone for who they were. Overall everyone loved the Hogg family for who they are and they loved and everyone loved the Hogg family for who they were. Miss Ima devoted her time and life to helping other people. With a very good will from her parents Ima Hogg transferred Texas mud into Texas history.

Ima Hogg was basically the driving force in Texas for about 62 years. Ima Hogg worked very hard to make everyone feel equal as much as she could. Ima servered on the school board in the mid 1940's. She worked to make a fine arts for African American kids. Ima created the Houston Child Guidance Center disadvantaged youth. She also provided funds for children to develop their talents in music. Ima was a leader of Texas, she helped out with Texas a lot.
