Ima was very close to her mother but sadly she fell ill when Ima was 13 with tuberculosis. The Hogg family later figured out the tuberculosis was inherited so Ima was never to marry or have children. No one really knows what she did during 1907-1909. People found a picture of German man in her belongings, maybe that was the reason for all the trips to Germany. She lived a remember able life, she died at the age of 92.
